LNG Regasification for Local Gas Network Injection
Thanks to our compact, technologically advanced, and environmentally friendly plants, we can convert liquefied natural gas (LNG) into its gaseous form and inject it into the national distribution network or into small and medium-sized networks (both civil and industrial) not yet connected to the main gas pipeline.
The plant is transportable on a semi-trailer, mounted on a frame, and pre-assembled in the factory, ensuring very short installation and start-up times.
The plant consists of:
- 1 cryogenic tank for LNG storage at a maximum pressure of 12 bar. The tank is also equipped with a saturation vaporizer to maintain the minimum operating pressure.
- 2 atmospheric vaporizers, where LNG is transformed from liquid to gas.
- 1 electric heater to ensure proper regulation of the gas temperature.
- 1 pressure reduction and measurement unit, used to regulate the gas delivery pressure, measure production, and, if necessary, odorize the gas.
CNG Recovery from gas pipeline draining
Metano Toscana has developed various types of plants capable of emptying sections of gas pipelines by compressing the gas and injecting it into another pipeline branch or loading it into cylinder trailers. This allows for periodic cleaning and maintenance of the gas pipelines.
The plant is mounted on a semi-trailer, providing full transportability and maximum flexibility, even for pipelines located in remote and difficult-to-access areas.
The system was designed to comply with new government regulations aimed at protecting the environment by prohibiting gas release into the atmosphere or its combustion.
The plant features 4 hydrostatic transmission systems with 75% redundancy. The compression system operates over a very wide gas suction range (from 65 up to a discharge pressure of 0.5 barG) using 2 different types of compression cylinders, with a capacity of 15,000 Sm³/h at 65 barG suction pressure and an average flow rate of 7,750 Sm³/h.
